Mr Giersdorf, known online as Bugha, won a record-breaking $3m (£2.4m) to become world champion of the computer game Fortnite.
The event is seen as a Biggest event in e-sports, which is estimated to be a billion-dollar industry in 2019.
The game begin with 100 players being dropped in an island where they have to pick Weapons to fight and Materials to build structures to self-defense. When players win a round of Battle Royale, they are awarded the Victory Royale. To win a game in Fortnite Battle Royale, the player must be the last person standing in Game, or the last team standing.
Players can play alone, duos or four-person squad, either with friends or random people. The Game has 200 million players worldwide and it is free to play, but Noobs can spend money on in-game purchases.
